I am an applied microeconomist and my main field of research is empirical public finance. The broad question guiding my research agenda is how households and firms respond to government policies, namely taxes and regulations.

September 2024 - I have been elected member of the Board of Management of the International Institute of Public Finance (IIPF)

September 2024 - I co-organized the 2nd Madrid Public Economics Workshop at CUNEF

July 2023 – I’ve been awarded a Leonardo research grant from Fundación BBVA to do research on the effects of value-added tax (VAT) reforms in Spain

Feb 2023 – I received the 2022 Julián Marías Prize for researchers under 40 in Social Science and Humanities in the Madrid Region
